If you've been following our 'Favourite People' post or not and you're looking to make some really cool envelopes then you've come to the right place.
Lets make your envelopes.
Here's what you need:
Gold leaf in rose gold and designer ( I found mine at Jimnettes)
Card - Any weighted paper should work fine. Just make sure you can fold it
Double sided tape - I got the sellotape one but any one you're comfortable with works
Scissors
Our envelope cut out
Craft glue
Paint brush
Dusting brush - I used a normal blusher brush. It just needs to have soft bristles.
Our Custom Template - This template was sized to be used as scratch card and polaroid holders but you can use this as a template and play with the dimensions to get the size you're looking for.
You can find our Template on our feebies page :) !!
Lets Begin:
1) Print and cut out all the envelopes
2) Begin folding in the envelopes . I added a pic here to show you some of what our tester models looked like

3) Once they are all folded place the double sided tape along the folds and tape them together and boom you have an envelope
If you like this look already you don't need to follow this next step.
4) Taking a clean paint brush randomly paint brush strokes on the envelopes . Then taking a gold leaf sheet place this gently on top of the glue and gently touching it make sure its placed properly. Leave this to try for a few hours
5) Once its dry , taking a clean dusting brush ( I used a blusher brush) begin dusting off the gold leaf to reveal these really unique envelopes ! Me and my bestie LOVED making these and they definitely were a unique and loving touch to our big day.

If you followed this tutorial , show us your own unique take, we'd love to see it!
If you're looking for the next step in making your own scratch cards , then never fear we are right here. 1
